We have an exciting opportunity for a Motion Graphics Designer for a contract to potential hire. This role will be a hybrid (remote/onsite) schedule and is looking for someone to commute to the Stamford, Connecticut area. Expected hours when on site (M and F) are 10a-8p. The team is open to relocation for the right person.

Our client is an integrated media and entertainment company. They are hiring a Motion Graphics Designer for their television graphics team to aid with animation. The ideal candidate for this team is a highly creative individual with a passion for design and animation. The ideal candidate is a true creative who stays current with trends and is not afraid to take design risks.

Motion Graphics Designer Responsibilities

• Learning templates and getting acclimated to unique internal systems, iterating on existing creative assets, and creating and compositing original 2D animations for television graphics
• Participating in creative pitches, making style frames, and inputting your own creative voice
• Communicating with production staff to fulfill graphic requests
• Keeping up with a fast-paced work environment and delivering animations under tight deadlines

Motion Graphics Designer Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in designing 2D graphics, preferably for Broadcast television
• Advanced 2D Animation Skills and strong understanding typography
• Must be proficient in After Effects, Photoshop, Cinema 4D
• Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-based, constantly evolving environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented
• Display good communication skills and be a team player
• Be able to work flexible hours
• Degree in 2D animation/graphic design is a plus
