Exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent Nuclear Med Tech in Ronceverte! Located on the Greenbriar river and less than two hours from Roanoke, VA and Charleston, WV. Great pay and excellent benefits offered!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Nuclear Med Tech, is responsible for providing patients with radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track the radiation within the patient’s body. Their duties include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for a scan and processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Supervise and coordinate Nuclear Medicine Department activities; prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Keep and maintain documentation required for NRC license.
- Maintain, develop, and implement protocols for new and revised procedures.
- Practice and implement radiation safety policies and procedures for handling, administering, and disposing of radioactive materials.
- Associate Degree and/or completion of an approved training program in Nuclear Medicine required.
- Certification by NMTCB and/or registry by ARRT.
- One year work experience preferred.
