Job Description

An established critical access hospital located in the Upper Connecticut Valley region is now looking for an experienced Nurse Director Behavioral Health to join their award-winning healthcare team.

For more than a century, this 35-bed critical access hospital has provided accessible, affordable, and high-quality healthcare. This location represents a number of services including a level IV Trauma Center, inpatient services, orthopedics and surgical services, imaging and laboratory testing, behavioral health, and rehabilitative services. 

The Nurse Director Behavioral Health will lead all clinical and administrative operations of a 10-bed voluntary short-stay inpatient unit that specializes in behavioral health care for older adults. The Nurse Director will lead an interdisciplinary team consisting of experienced registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, social workers, and recreational therapists. The Nurse Director will also work closely with the Psychiatrist and Gerontologist to ensure quality patient care in every aspect. The Nurse Director is also responsible for the regulatory compliance and all fiscal operations of the department.

Requirements Include: 

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse RN license in the state of New Hampshire or ability to obtain
• Extensive knowledge of behavioral health nursing
