A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in central Connecticut is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Case Management to join their award-winning healthcare team.

The main campus includes an award-wining intensive care unit, single room model maternity units, wound care and hyperbaric center, a leading skilled nursing facility, and an established surgical center.

The Nurse Director will provide strategic oversight to the Executive and Medical leadership teams in regards to Case Management and Discharge Planning. The Nurse Director will ensure the department is aligned with organization goals, evaluate the utilization review process and discharge planning, manages the human resource functions of the department, develops annual budget, collaborates with Case Management physician advisors, educates Medical Staff, and ensures the overall success of the department. The Nurse Director will also lead the Utilization Management Committee.

Requirements Include:

• Master’s degree in Nursing MSN
• Current Registered Nursing licensure in state of Connecticut
• 7-10 years of acute care case management experience
• Extensive leadership experience in case management and discharge planning
