An established acute care hospital located in the heart of central Kentucky is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Risk Management to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This full-service acute care hospital is home to just under 100-beds is equipped with the latest medical technologies to perform a variety of inpatient, outpatient, intensive care, surgical, emergency, and diagnostic services. This system is proud to combine a team of trained Physicians and Medical Professionals who are dedicated to making the community healthier in one of the fastest growing regions of the state.

The Nurse Director of Risk Management will drive the strategic vision of the system-wide Risk and Safety programs with a focus on cost containment, high-quality healthcare, and community growth. The Nurse Director will lead the daily operations of the Risk Management department including developing policies and procedures, ensures all goals and plans are consistent with the organizations mission and values, directs risk investigations, and develops resolution plans. The Nurse Director will demonstrate expert knowledge of Lean methodologies, tools, and philosophy to assist benefit the patients, staff, and organization as a whole.

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Nursing program required
• Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Registered Nursing RN license in state of Kentucky
