A quickly growing FQHC Clinic Network in Nevada is actively interviewing for a Nurse Manager to oversee a unique role in Quality Management for Complex Care Management and Population Health initiatives. The Quality and Case Management Nurse Manager will serve in a role that is integral to the organization, ensuring that Value-based care standards are being observed and that performance improvement is always a goal.

Reporting to the Chief of Quality Improvement and Complex Care, the Manager of Quality and Case Management will take on a unique position and will be given many opportunities to grow. Supported by a small, but tenured team of Complex Care RN Case Managers, the Quality Manager will have the opportunity to make significant impacts on improving key aspects of population health throughout the statewide service area. Additionally, this will occasionally pull Quality Assurance and Quality Reporting staff from other departments to help collect data, prepare reports, and share results throughout the organization.

The Quality Management Nurse Manager will play an large role throughout the organization. This role is expected to grow in the coming year(s) as the healthcare organization continues to add new service lines and locations to its network of Primary Care and Specialty Care FQHC Clinics. Succession planning is an important concept for the organization, and working closely with the CQO will allow the incoming Manger to learn the finer details of the organization and all the key stakeholders across 20+ locations in Northern and Southern Nevada.

The Case Management Nurse Manager will consult with the Vice President of Quality and the Regional Practice Administrators to develop and establish robust complex case management programs. Both goal setting and team building will be crucial skills in the march toward affordable and high quality value-based care. The Nurse Manager will work with Transitional Case Managers from across the continuum of care and throughout the State of Nevada to create policy and procedure that aligns patient care goals and financial sustainability goals.

The Nurse Manager of Case Management Quality will play a few different roles for this FQHC Healthcare Organization, and will have ample opportunities to grow. This person should be a strong communicator, and able to present program / project progress to Executive Team members. Additionally, knowledge of NCQA quality management concepts will be an excellent framework for the incoming Manager.
