Position description
The Family Medicine team is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Acute Access teams working in Red Wing.

The selected individual will provide support to a fully developed family medicine multidisciplinary team. APP’s in this role will care for both simple and complex acute care needs, providing a wide range of services impacting chronic disease management and assuring continuity in our population based practice.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical clinic or hospital is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills are required, and must have demonstrated skill in working collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.


Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Must have current Minnesota RN license and certification as a FNP, ACNP or ANP. Licensure must allow provider to see the full spectrum of patients from newborn through geriatrics.

Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.

Candidate must be eligible for DEA registration.


Additional qualifications
Preferred: A Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) is.

License or certification

Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.

Schedule details
Hours of operation from Monday through Friday is 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. along with a weekend and holiday rotation required between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Weekend schedule
Weekend and holiday rotation required between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
