Nurses at Home is a home health company starting with you! We are looking for Home Health Aides (HHA) in the Hartford, Middlesex, & Litchfield Counties. We prefer either 1-year homecare HHA experience. We are looking for those special Home Health Aides with positive attitudes, proficiency, and warm hearts and we are offering top industry rates for it.

Nurses at Home has recently gone into operation and we are looking to hire an office manager that is also willing to do Home Health Aide visits when they arise.

We are looking for a compassionate Office Manager with a Home Health Aide background, to assist with office tasks, and schedule and provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on Doctors' orders
  • Maintain schedule for field staff
  • Maintain Mail 
  • Referral Intake
  • Visit reconciliation
  • Pre-employment & recruitment activities
  • Provide health care services in patients' residences
  • Assist with clients' personal care activities
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
  • Maintain patients care records and document provided services
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
  • Collect routine specimens

Skills

  • Proficient scheduling background 
  • Proven working experience as home health aide
  • Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in English
  • Nursing and health care administration skills
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Current CPR certificate
  • First Aid training
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • High school degree

Job Type: Full Time 

Schedule:

  • 6 - 8 hour shifts

Experience:

  • Home Health Aides: 3 years
