The Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support to our legal department under the direction and supervision of the VP, Legal. They will assist with document preparation, management of legal document flow, filing, mail processing, and other administrative work as assigned. This position requires exceptional detail-orientation in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilities:

  • Assist with document flow management
  • Assist the legal team with meticulous editing and processing of documents, including contract templates and standard forms
  • Maintain legal archives in contract management system
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments, and contribute to overall management of legal team calendars
  • Interact with and assist internal clients in their dealings with the legal department
  • Timely processing of mail, drafting routine correspondence, and ensuring delivery to appropriate parties
  • Other administrative support, as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent training, preferably in a legal setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Meticulous detail orientation and perfectionistic mentality.
  • Ability to work on highly confidential matters with discretion.
  • Ability to communicate with legal department, senior management, outside law firms, and others in a professional, thoughtful and intelligent manner.
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills while maintaining a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
