Paramedic/EMT Full Time Nights

Quick to assess patient needs and determine the nature of emergent issues and how they should be properly handled? While working in Emergency Medicine you may have found security lacking at times and other aspects of the position to be a little more on repeat than you expected when you decided to become a paramedic. Evidence based medical decisions, making an impact for an under-served patient population, in a safe secure work environment may be just the career change you are looking for.

Qualifications: We are looking for a certified paramedic to utilize their skills for a diverse patient group. You will assess new intakes through data collection, coordinate triage with nursing staff on duty and provider, as well as respond to medical emergencies. You should have competence in performing emergency intervention, physical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.

Location: Iredell Co. Detention Center

Open Position: FT Correctional Medical Technician III

Schedule: Nights 3/4 12 hr shifts; Rotating Weekends
