Part Time Sanitation

PART-TIME

$17.47/hr

• Responsible to perform major clean-up, sanitizing and set-up of equipment of all plant production lines. Operation of Equipment to be determined by the Plant Sanitarian.
• Responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing Plant Equipment
• Breakdown and setup Plant Equipment as required
• Assures all gaskets and washers are in place preventing leaks.
• Places and tightens all clamps to prevent leaks.
• Install equipment guards.
• Notifies maintenance of any leaks or malfunctions.
• Stages ingredients.
• Works with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting a Supervisor. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product. Record accurate data on production reports.
• Maintains necessary on-line production records and process control point information as needed
• Assists all other areas within the department as needed Maintain a high degree of good manufacturing practices – FDA, USDA ready at all times
• Performs routine maintenance and troubleshoot specified production equipment.
• Assists the operators in various changeovers based on production schedules and production runs
• Performs housekeeping on multiple operational areas

Shift start: 7:00PM
Shift length: 12 hours
Saturdays only or Saturday and Sunday

• Must pass drug screen
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

Must possess basic to advanced understanding of computer programs Must be willing /available to train partners Must be able to read and keep neat, accurate records. Must be able to communicate effectively Must be able to keep production records legibly Must have knowledge of basic math Must be able to operate power cleaning and sanitizing equipment. Must be able to do other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Sanitarian. Must be physically capable of performing moderate to heavy lifting. Must be able to use proper lifting techniques and maintain a safe work environment. Must be able to work in wet and humid conditions.
