Job Description:
Manager Patient Access

Provides leadership and management of the daily operations of the Admitting/Communications department, as well as Radiology Scheduling and other scheduling areas centralized with Patient Access. Provides project management and leads process improvement initiatives to create efficient workflows and improve the patient experience.

Full-Time Position (80 Hours Per Pay Period)

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
  • Associates degree required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • NAHAM, HFMA or other healthcare certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma or other change management certification preferred


EXPERIENCE
  • Two (2) years' experience in the healthcare field required, with direct experience in scheduling and registration preferred
  • Previous supervisory/management experience
  • Knowledge of government and non-government payers and regulatory requirements
  • Bi-lingual and/or sign language preferred
