Job Description:
Manager Patient Acct

Provides leadership and management of the daily operations of the Business Office and provides project management to the organization.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certification through HFMA or AAHAM preferred


EXPERIENCE
  • Five to seven years prior job related experience in a hospital health care setting
  • Three to five years of recent supervisory experience
  • Experience working with government and non-government payer regulations and general billing practices
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirement related to billing & collections, cash controls, compliance and HIPAA
  • Understanding of legal proceedings as they relate to collections and contracting
  • Previous experience working in a clinically driven revenue cycle environment preferred
  • Previous Epic experience preferred
