Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Gainesville, Florida.

We are currently seeking a Patient Transport Driver or CNA who also holds or is willing to acquire their CDL (Commercial Vehicle Driver’s License). We are a growing facility in need of an energetic and talented new professional to come join our team!   

The Patient Transport Driver plays an important daily role in safely driving the facility van (with up to 10 passengers) ensuring that residents are able to get to and from appointments as well as any other facility outings.  Here at Gainesville Health and Rehab, we believe in a strong TEAM approach that truly improves the lives of all our residents.  

• Facility will help provide CDL CLASS C Licensure
• Newly licensed CNAs are welcome

Driver Job Summary & Qualifications:

• Transporting residents to and from doctor appointments safely and efficiently.
• Transporting residents to stores and events and oversee the safety of the residents during outings.
• Requires 1 year experience driving a bus/van with passengers.
• Care and compassion when caring for the residents.
• Current CNA license is a plus.
• Prior NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transport) experience is a plus.
