A Right at Home Personal Care Assistant helps our clients maintain a full and independent life by providing companion care, as well as, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). Personal care associated with activities of daily living (ADLs) include, but are not limited to:

Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
Ambulation
Eating
Dressing
Shaving
Prepares meals and snacks according to instruction
Light housekeeping - vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms
Accompany or drive clients to appointments or run errands
Maintain safety of client in and out of the home setting
Provide medication reminders as instructed

Pay:

$14.50 to $16.00/hr, depending upon experience
$1.50 more per hour on weekend shifts ( Sat-Sun)
