We Are Hiring:
Title: Pharmacy Technician Advocate- Outpatient- Medication History
Hours: Work between the hours of 6am-midnight, Sat/Sun 10am-8:30pm
Location:
The position will be 50-75% remote with some shifts out of the Ascension Rx Building (7701 Metropolis Dr BLDG 13 Suite 200, Austin TX 78744
What You Will Do:
Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services. Perform specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician.
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing system.
- Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the specialty pharmacy areas.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy intern would be acceptable ILO
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Certification in Medication History preferred
2 years retail preferred
