Overview:

Woodmark Pharmacy is a Long Term Care Pharmacy looking for a full-time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to work in our Plainville, CT location. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in data-entry and refill orders in a fast-paced, high-volume and deadline-driven environment. Candidates should have experience in data entry, customer services, attention to detail, strong phone communication skills and familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand/generic names of medications and HOA) and have experiences with automated dispensing systems.

 

This is on the 3pm to 11pm shift

• Process refills, new order and new admission efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist with phone calls, e-prescription request and weekly cycle fill
• Process claim adjudication
• Follow procedures with automated TCGRX dispensing system
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• CT Pharmacy Technician license required, CPHT preferred.
