Our client is seeking an awesome licensed physical therapist to fill a permanent opening as soon as possible. This is a full-time position focusing on strong Pelvic Floor skills. The ideal PT will be passionate about delivering quality care and making a real difference to people in the community.

Responsibilities of the Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

  • Provide quality Pelvic Floor physical therapy services
  • Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
  • Realize your own potential to achieve your goals and overall excellence.
  • Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
  • Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed-upon goals.

Requirements of the Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

  • Minimum 12 months experience as a PT
  • Valid Virginia state PT License
  • Degree from PT Accredited College
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting
  • Provide a quality customer service focus and an enthusiastic attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months experience working as a Pelvic PT with at least a 50% case load treating pelvic health diagnoses
  • Completion of either Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor level 1 or APTA Pelvic Health PT level 1 course, and Herman and Wallace level 2B or APTA Pelvic Health PT level 2 (pelvic pain)
  • Board Certification from APTA in an area of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Specialty.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $76000 - $91000 per year based on experience
