Full PT team looking to provide mentorship to a new graduate. Experienced PTs welcome!

Productivity: 2 patients per hour

Patients population: pediatrics, geriatrics, sports, vestibular, hand therapy

Hours: M, W, F 8-7:30-Tue & Th 11-7:30

Our client is a Physical Therapist-owned and operated clinic, family-owned and operated since 1974. Poughkeepsie is located in the beautiful Hudson Valley on the banks of the Hudson River.

We are working with our client in Poughkeepsie and Lag rangeville, New York, to find an outgoing, licensed physical therapist to fill a permanent job opening. This is a full-time position working Outpatient. Interested candidates should hold a current license/registration in PT and be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. New PT school graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities of the Outpatient Physical Therapist

• Provide quality outpatient physical therapy services from teens to geriatric
• Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
• Realize your own potential to achieve your goals and overall excellence.
• Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
• Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

• Experienced PT or New Grads Accepted
• Valid New York state PT License
• Degree from PT Accredited College
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting
• Provide a quality customer service focus and an enthusiastic attitude

Compensation & Benefits

• $64,000-$70,000 Based on experience
