We Are Hiring:

Medical Physicist- Full Time (40 hours per week) 7:00a-5:00p; Monday-Friday; some evenings & weekends. Position will be primarily working out of the VECC.

Our Radiation Oncology team consists of 4 physicists, 5 dosimetrists, and 5 physicians committed to a Mission of serving others and providing compassionate, personalized care to all across 2 hospital centers and 2 out-patient clinics. The physics team is heavily involved in the collaborative clinical decision making process with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists.

Our network is equipped with two Varian TrueBeams, two Varian Trilogy/IX Clinacs, and two Elekta linacs for conventional, SBRT, and SRS treatment deliveries. All centers utilize GE CT Simulators and Varian RPM for 4DCT. Three centers have Flexitron HDR brachytherapy units for GYN cylinder, ring and tandem, and syed procedures, in addition to interstitial prostate and intracavitary rectum treatments. One of our centers also does LDR brachytherapy with prostate seeds and will be introducing GammaTile. All of our centers utilize Eclipse as the treatment planning system and MOSAIQ for the record and verify system.
