Job Description

The purpose of this position is to manage the Company’s processing plant so as to maximize profits, maintain consistent product quality and meet customer needs. Additionally responsible for directing the management teams to select, develop, and motivate personnel as well as assuring quality staffing at all levels of management while adhering to safety and ergonomic goals and objectives. In summary, this person will:

• Lead and develop each plant processing area to ensure plant metrics are met
• Work with all support departments to ensure each facet of the organization is working together for associate engagement and to meet company goals
• Provide feedback and guidance to the processing team in developing solutions for improving processes, maintaining processing environment, and innovative problem solving
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Ensures that product quality, service, and reliability meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Ag-Business or related discipline plus 7 years related work experience. Specific related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Must have knowledge of budget development and administration, report analysis and employment law.
• Must have a broad integrated knowledge of live poultry production and plant operations.
• Must be able to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings up to 25% of the time.
• Poultry husbandry knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude a plus.
