Job Description
A smaller surgical hospital in Central Montana is actively seeking a Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN to join their strong team of perioperative staff! This hospital is continuing to grow, and is a part of a national organization, allowing room for career advancement to the experienced PACU Nurse.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN will have the wonderful opportunity to work among a great team of fellow surgical services RNs, techs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurse managers, and clinical coordinators at this busy and fast-paced surgical hospital. The PACU Nurse will be responsible for the post-operative care of patients following their inpatient and outpatient procedures, including pain and nausea medication administration, monitoring of vital signs, administering discharge instructions and education to patients and families, and overall coordination of care following surgery. The PACU Nurse Surgical Hospital will work collaboratively with the pre-op and OR staff, ensuring a high standard of patient care and excellent postoperative outcomes.
This beautiful short term acute care hospital is located in Central Montana, and offers a range of medical services including: inpatient and outpatient surgical services, 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging and radiology services, oncology care, infusion services, advanced cardiovascular care, physical therapy, and a full-service laboratory. Surgical Services offered at this facility include: oncology, plastics, orthopedics, vascular, general, ophthalmology, dermatology, and cardiothoracic. This smaller, but growing 15+ bed facility has also received a CMS 5-star rating.
