Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector is seeking a Principal Signals Intelligence Analyst / Sr. Principal Signals Intelligence Analyst to join the Payload and Ground Systems Division.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform SIGINT analysis in support of major activities, in-house testing, anomaly investigations and impact assessments.
  • Compose papers and/or briefings to report results
  • Present briefing results to the customer.
  • Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and customer inquiries.
  • Use specialized SIGINT data and analysis tool suites along with standard community databases and tools to conduct data analysis activities from multiple data source

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.

Basic Qualifications at Principal Level are:

  • 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD, or 9 years experience in lieu of degree.
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Extensive SIGINT experience
  • Knowledge and experience with community database and tools (CED, GALE, WRANGLER)
  • Previous experience supporting both DoD and Intelligence Community customers
  • Ability to work with and support end users with varying levels of technical competence -government, military and contractor
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently with limited supervision or oversight

Basic Qualifications at the Sr. Principal Level are:

  • 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD, or 13 years experience in lieu of degree.
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Extensive SIGINT experience
  • Knowledge and experience with community database and tools (CED, GALE, WRANGLER)
  • Previous experience supporting both DoD and Intelligence Community customers
  • Ability to work with and support end users with varying levels of technical competence -government, military and contractor
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently with limited supervision or oversight


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skills required are in line with military equivalent training in ratings such as Air Force IN2A (IN5 equivalent), Navy CTR, CTT and Army 35N (98 series equivalents). Tuning and / or ER experience
  • 10 years direct experience
  • Experience with low earth orbit systems and common back-end tools (CBET).


Salary Range: 92200 - 138400
Salary Range 2: 114300 - 171500


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
