Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our team of dedicated professionals supporting cutting-edge research and development projects for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).


This position will require the selected candidate(s) to successfully conduct phase two and three analysis of various forms of intelligence data derived from multiple sources.


The selected analyst will have knowledge/experience in at least one of the following disciplines:
All-Source Analysis
Cyberspace Operations Analysis
Space and Counterspace Intelligence
Ballistic Missile Analysis
Imagery Analysis (IMINT)
Geospatial Analysis (GEOINT)
Signals Analysis (SIGINT)
Human Intelligence (HUMINT)
Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR)


Responsibilities and Duties Include:
  • Perform technical analysis to identify various capabilities and phenomena associated with multiple sources of data
  • Drafting and publishing reports using a variety of algorithms, technical tools, and other resources
  • Communicate across teams in order to provide the best possible response to customers
  • Evaluate data and become a subject matter expert on designated requirements
  • Conduct briefings (when asked) to squadron leadership on analytical findings
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner
  • Participation in designated team meetings
This requisition may be filled at a higher level based on experience and education.


This position may be filled as either Principal Intelligence Analyst or a Sr. Principal Intelligence Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Intelligence Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 + years of Intelligence-related data exploitation; OR 3+ years’ experience with Master’s degree. (4 years of experience maybe substituted in lieu of a degree.)
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with classification handling and marking protocols
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Intelligence Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 9 + years of Intelligence-related data exploitation; OR 7+ years’ experience with Master’s degree. (4 years of experience maybe substituted in lieu of a degree.)
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with classification handling and marking protocols
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) field Experience working in NASIC supporting
  • legacy contract program
  • Experience supporting other intelligence agencies (NGIC, ADF-C, MDA, MSIC)


Salary Range: 83600 - 125400
Salary Range 2: 103700 - 155500


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
