Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

Engineering:

• Maintain process documentation, including maintaining and creating new piping and instrumentation diagrams, as well as other flow diagrams.
• Support the implementation of expense and capital projects.

Operations:

• Oversee daily operations of a food additives plant to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability targets are achieved; providing troubleshooting and technical support as needed.
• Monitor system performance for deviation from targets, and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Maintain and create new standard operating procedures to ensure consistent plant operations.

Quality:

• Troubleshoot quality issues and provide corrective actions.

Safety:

• Monitor and provide support for SEM suggestions.
• Participate in incident investigations and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Support the EHS department by providing technical assistance and training.

Shift Supervision:

• Act as a relieve shift manager when necessary to ensure continued plant operations.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering
• Experience using Microsoft Office (excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook)
