Position Responsibilities:

  • Daily production assembly and test support on the Manufacturing floor with strong emphasis on production requirements and deliverables.
  • First responder for technical issues that impact daily production and KPI’s
  • Perform Form/Fit/Function analysis as required on component and production processes
  • Perform root cause and corrective action analysis on Process issues and non-conforming material
  • Repair, maintain and troubleshoot production assembly and test equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues in the Manufacturing and Test areas and identify permanent solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Assist continuous improvement projects for layout, process, and material flow initiatives
  • Assist with implementation to achieve and maintain 5S standards
  • Assist new product development process with Pre-production and pilot build support; provide build reports and analysis to ensure process stability and control
  • Create and revise work instructions and manufacturing assembly procedures (MAPs)
  • Create, revise and implement temporary deviations (TDN)
  • Train/coach technicians in assembly and test on production equipment/operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Preferred 2+ year experience in mechanical assembly or electrical test role
  • Comprehension and knowledge of blueprints/engineering drawings
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred SAP ERP experience (QN, inventory movements, stock overview, transaction history tracker)
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong communication skills; ability to Interface with all areas of the company with a cross-functional team focus

Education

Preferred
  • Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field
  • Associates or better in Chemistry or related field
  • Associates or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field
