Job Description

Positions starting at $17.75/hr

Hours scheduled are Sunday-Thursday 7PM-5:30AM, Friday 7PM-3:30AM; Overtime is mandatory but can change on a weekly basis dependent on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must work safely, always using Personal Protective Equipment, following the company’s safety procedures and policies.
  • Understands and follows quality guidelines
  • Inspect, examine and identify products that may be defective
  • Understand and meet the operation performance standards established for each work station/position
  • Perform any work station function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
  • Understand and carry out oral instructions
  • Read and carry out written instructions
  • Read work orders, labels, and schedules
  • Read and use a tape measure (on the job training provided when needed)
  • Make fraction and decimal conversions (on the job training provided when needed)
  • Operate any equipment as requested to perform job
  • Maintain and clean work area
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees
  • Maintain regular attendance and work overtime as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:  High School Diploma is preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform all essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily, including completing daily expectations within established takt times.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. 

Knowledge and Skill:  Basic reading, writing and math skills.  Manual dexterity required for assembly work and operating machinery.  This job requires the ability to interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions.  Good interpersonal skills are needed to operate in and maintain a team environment. 

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to problem solve with or without oral or written instructions.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.  While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand on a concrete floor.  Employees are required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; bending, turning or twisting; pushing; and talk and hear.  The employee must repetitively lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds unaided.  75 pounds or more must be lifted with assistance.  Certain positions require the ability to climb a ladder to reach materials needed for assembly.

Work environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the average plant temperature conditions range from 60 degrees in the winter months and up to 110 degrees during the warmer months.  All work stations on the plant floor require the use of safety glasses.  Some work stations require additional safety equipment to include but not limited to; hearing protectors, gloves, and arm guards.
