Production Assistant

FULL-TIME

$18.50/hr

Core Responsibilities:

• Contributing to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and
regulations.
• Assisting the department in producing a quality product based upon product specifications.
• Monitoring and completing quality checks to assure quality of the products (color, surface, size, etc.) meets product standards prior to packaging.
• Performing placement of pallets and proper packaging techniques for finished material as directed.
• Moving material to designated areas, as needed.
• Assisting extrusion operator with all machine cleaning functions including saws, tanks, etc. when necessary.
• Communicating daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators and team leaders as needed.
• Following all plant safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Understanding and following all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Responsible for detailed completion of production operator reports.
• Completing additional quality and production paperwork as necessary.
• Completing and attaching labels according to the product specifications.
• Performing housekeeping duties in the production area.
• Performing additional duties as needed and/or assigned by leadership.

PAY - $16 - $18.50 (with 10% differential pay for evenings)

Schedule

Shift start: 6:30AM or 6:30PM
Shift length: 6:45am-7:00pm & 6:45pm-7:00am
