Production Supervisor

FULL-TIME

$32/hr

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members, for quality, safety, and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability, assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; perform other responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred.

Experience: 1+ year leadership experience depending on level of education obtained; understanding and knowledge of beef or pork operations, Case Ready preferred; knowledge of product yields and specifications.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels; bilingual skills helpful.

Special Skills: Team Leader, problem solving, and special projects. Self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges and assist where needed; must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.

Supervisory: This person is responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities; ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies, food safety, sanitation.

Travel: Some travel may be required for training purposes.

This is a salary position and salary is base on 5 days working period.

Schedule

Shift start: 5:30AM or 2:30PM or 3:30PM
Shift length: 12 hours
Monday - Friday, some Saturday & Sunday

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
  • Can lift 30 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
