As part of Nasdaqs growing Market Technology business, Nasdaq Trade Surveillance (NTS) is the worlds leading provider of surveillance and compliance technology. NTS offers our customers a cloud hosted technology which provides compliance officers the tools needed for monitoring and linking trading activity across multiple venues and asset classes. Our clients include tier one banks, stock exchanges, regulators and other market participants who use our software as their primary tool for market monitoring.

In the role of Project Manager, you will join a team of a highly motivated technology and finance experts in the surveillance space in a globally distributed team. You will be managing the customer facing side of a technology change/migration project. You are responsible for coordinating and delivering the project outcomes working with the broader Customer Success team located in APAC, Europe and the US along with Product Management, Technology and Operational team members.

What You Will Do

  • Manages, plans, monitors and administers a large project independently to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Utilizes and manages resources and coordinates effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure the project is completed as efficiently as possible.

  • Ensures the project plan obligations are met regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes

  • Delivers project management responsibilities within a matrix environment

  • Owns plan for rollout for customers following successful pilot run by Product Management team.

  • Tracks dependencies both internally and externally

  • Project governance and reporting

What We Expect

  • A Bachelor degree or Masters qualified in Computer Science or related field, or relevant and proven project delivery success

  • At least 5 years of experience in a project management role in the banking tech, financial services, or trading space

  • Well-developed negotiation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, good time management skills and a self-motivated attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Collaborative and flexible in your approach to gain the confidence of key internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to understand and recover quickly from difficult situations or setbacks

What Would Be Helpful

  • Regulatory compliance transformation or business change experience

  • PRINCE2 or PMP certification
