Provider Relations Liaison, Physician Relations -Development , Full-Time, Days in Roswell, NM We are hiring a Provider Relations Liaison to join our Physician Relations -Development Department Roswell, NM This full-time job is located with Lovelace Shared Services, organizational support departments for all Lovelace facilities including Coding, Finance, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and the Resource Team. We are dedicated to exceeding our customers' expectations in every way. Provider Relations Liaison Job Responsibilities: For assigned services lines, responsible for researching and understanding service line volumes, utilization, market share, competitor data and physician referral patters. Must have knowledge of key business drivers, related medical trends, and service line performance metrics. Ability to leverage internal and external data to create strategic business development plans for each service line that supports company strategic vision and goals. Must travel statewide on a regular basis to provide education and build and maintain strong relationships with community hospitals, clinics and providers. Ensure providers in primary and secondary services areas are effectively informed and educated regarding Lovelace Health System and specialty providers and services. Communicate closely with LHS and service line leadership to review market knowledge and implementation of provider relations goals for each assigned service line or facility. Track activities, engagement and metrics to establish ROI on business development activities Provider Relations Liaison Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study. Relevant experience may be substituted for education in accordance to policy Four (4) years business development, physician relations or professional sales /account management experience - preferably in healthcare or related industry Professional sales or account management experience. Knowledge of the health care environment and current economic trends and challenges for health care systems. Must be able to quickly understand the scope and types of services that the organization provides. Skills in gathering and analyzing data, research and preparing reports, and presenting well thought out recommendations and justifications. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must possess excellent public relations skills. Flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and various details of the position.
