Job Description

Responsible for identifying, planning, and executing testing activities in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high quality software and compliance according to regulatory statutes, policies, and procedures. Other duties will include:

• Test Web Application software, including Java and .Net
• Test Web Services
• Test applications which utilize IBM's MQ Series platform
• Perform black and white-box tests
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, and summaries
• Write and execute manual and automated test cases/scripts
• Manage test data and perform data analysis
• Define, maintain and organize input and output data
• Develop and maintain quality repositories to assure quality data integrity, including Microsoft SQL and Oracle platforms
• Communicate QA risks, milestones, and status to the Scrum Master, QA lead or Project Manager
• Review and verify functional and system requirements to ensure project deliverables pass QA criteria
• Provide work estimates for testing activities
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of QA test environment and tools
• Collect and report on quality statistics and metrics
• Record and monitor discovered defects and QA related issues
• Participate in quality related discussions
• Promote continuous improvement
• Improve test cycle during Sprints through the use of testing tools.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering AND three (3) years of experience as a QA Software Analyst, Associate Quality Analyst, or Test Analyst. Position also requires two (2) years of experience in each the following skills:

• Designing, developing, implementing and executing Test Automation Framework in Selenium, QTP and RTW
• Designing, developing, implementing and executing Manual Functional Test
• Selenium Webdriver LoadRunner scripting
• Jenkins
• JIRA
• ETL verification
• Quality Center
• MQ Series
• Web Services Testing Tools
• SOAP and XML WSDL Testing
• Back end validation of Microsoft SQL and Oracle platforms databases.
