Established global company with a good working culture has an opportunity for a Quality Engineer at their manufacturing / distribution site commutable to the west of Greenville, SC. In this role will apply quality improvement principles that drive the continual improvement and conformance of the quality management systems. Will design and continually improve the acceptance sample plans required to evaluate effectively the quality of purchased products. Will design and continually improve the quality assurance department quality management systems procedures. Procurement and product development engineering will be worked closely with to evaluate the ability of suppliers to produce products that conform to new or existing specifications. There is occasional travel associated with this position. Communicated here are some of the responsibilities. • Bachelor degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and / or field that is related
• At least 5 years of quality engineering related experience in a manufacturing setting
• Would like a CQE
• Would like a Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Must have a very good knowledge of company products and processes
• Ability to motivate and lead others in a positive way
• Strong with process flow methodologies
• Customer service mentality that is strong
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
• Need the ability to understand and apply engineering requirements
• Oral and written communication skills that are strong
