TRC STAFFING SERVICES IS HIRING 2nd and 3rd SHIFT QUALITY PRESS LAB TECHNICIANS AND QUALITY LAB TECHNICIANS IN ROCKLEDGE, FL

Job Description: Perform Lab Tech functions as part of the full Press Operator position. Perform duties to test product samples to ensure that customer and company product specifications are achieved.

Location: Melbourne, FL

Number of Openings: 4

Starting Pay Rate: Depending on experience.

Hours: Third Shift, 11pm to 7am, Monday-Through Friday with $1.00 shift differential. Lunch is paid as long as employee remains on site. Mandatory overtime possible.

Type: This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Quality Press Lab Technicians and Lab Technicians Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all material being extruded conforms to all required specs and tolerances.
• Operate CMI x-ray machine, EDM machine, vision machine, surface testing machine, tensile testing machine and microscope.
• Can perform calibration tests on all equipment as required.
• Audit product characteristics and production processes.
• Perform a wide variety of measurements.
• Collect, prepare, and test in process product and raw materials.
• Collect, mount, polish and analyze samples submitted for metallography analysis.

Quality Press Lab Technicians and Lab Technicians Qualifications and Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of HAR quality standards.
• Excellent calculator and computer skills.
• Excellent math skills.
• Basic understanding of metallurgy.
• Ability to read and comprehend reference material such as production orders and specifications.
