Do you know a retired ST. Elizabeth Healthcare Registered Nurse who wants to do something meaningful to give back to our future healthcare workforce? Are they wanting to something fun and see old friends/coworkers? We need them! The ST. Elizabeth Healthcare “RAMP UP” program is designed to give students who conduct their clinical experiences at St. Elizabeth the opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge, insight, critical thinking skills, procedure, and assessment assistance from our knowledgeable and experienced healthcare professionals. Requirements will be during semesters only to support the students and will require 4-8 hours per week. Holidays, school breaks and summers are not required. We will work with their schedule. They can enjoy some time back in their profession enjoying their passion and mentoring our future workforce. They will not be required to have a patient assignment.
Requirements include a current licensure in their area of specialty. Recently retired within the last four years and orientation to the role. BSN’s are required for work with NKU Nursing students and ADN’s with two years’ experience for work with ADN students.
