Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Web Developer to work at a software and technology solutions firm in Birmingham, AL. This resource will work in small teams involved in developing new applications with web and mobile front ends along with providing maintenance/enhancements of current applications. This position will interact both with internal team members as well as business users to define requirements, test solutions, and troubleshoot bugs. These applications will mainly be pertaining to tax solutions or tax software. This role is mostly remote but will require at least one day in the office per month. Some travel will be required, but will be less than 10%.

- Experience in AWS Environments

- Experience working with accounting or tax applications

- C#, ASP.Net

- Experience with GIS, mapping toolsets and spatial analysis

- React, Angular or other similar JavaScript libraries

- OpenLayers, Cordova/PhoneGap

- Git, Mercurial or similar

- HTML, CSS, Jinja2, Bootstrap

- PostgreSQL AND MSSQL
- 5+ Years of experience in backend development
