Job Description

Blakecis Home Care is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our non-medical home care team. We  offer flexible hours, which include days, evenings and weekends. We are expecting to grow fast and we need experienced Registered Nurses who can perform a home care assessment of a potential or existing client to develop an individualized care plan to ensure safety and compliance to treatment of client;s health condition. The Registered Nurse's responsbilities include but not limited to, screening of client's ability to perform activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living at home, review client's medication list, educate the client or family about client's medication, assess for fall risk and educate client/family about fall prevention strategies, coordinate with the home care team if necessary to address client's needs. The Registered Nurse will perform admission assessment, supervisory of the Home Care Aide (aka caregiver) to ensure implementation of the established care plan, and to evaluate the outcome of the care plan. Registered Nurse is also part of the leadership team and encourage to participate in weekly client care conference. 

Ideal candidates should have their own vehicle, a cell phone, and a computer or tablet. The Registered Nurse must have active and unrestricted nursing license in the state, must have a clean background check and a good driving record. Per Diem employees: mileage reimbursement at current IRS rate, access to company’s own social media account (Motivosity) and earn rewards

Salary: Registered Nurses (RN) are paid as per visit. RN's per visit rate varies. 

Visit Types: Admission assessment, supervisory visit of Home Care Aide 30 days after the start of care then every 60 days, reassessment/resumption of care after hospitalization, and discharge visit which may be conducted by phone. 

Note:

There will be NO MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION, vital signs check, blood sugar check, foley catheter care, wound care, or anything that is classified as "medical care" as we are NOT a medical care entity. Primary duty is purely assessment, education of client/family/caregiver, and supervision of caregiver(aka Home Care Aide).
