Come join our team as a Registered Nurse Trainer!

Schedule Available: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week; exempt position Duties/Responsibilities: Flexibility with work schedule

As the Registered Nurse Trainer, Responsibilities as followed:

-Planning, implementing and evaluating of the education programs for clinical and non clinical staff.

-General Orientation of new staff

-Conducting CNA training class on an as needed basis

-All Aspects of employee health- including organizing and maintaining employee health files

-Maintain an infection prevention and control program designed to provide a safe, sanitary and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections.

-Establish facility wide systems for the prevention, identification, investigation and control of infections of residents, staff and visitors.

-Conduction on going education/competencies for all employee.

-Serving as the infection preventionist (course will be provided to you)

As the Registered Nurse Trainer, Requirements/Qualifications as followed:

-Previous experience as an educator in a health care setting (preferred but not required)

-Current NYS licensed registered nurse

-CPR certified

-Experience in DOH survey process (preferred but not required)
