Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an RN Float Pool for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What you will do:

  • Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients
  • Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic problem list (plan of care) for each patient. In collaboration with each patient/family/significant other in order to address all identified needs.
  • Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient
  • Evaluates the identified problems, care provided, and patient's responses are reassessed in order to meet patient and family need to ensure overall quality of care delivered
  • Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, in order to ensure quality care
  • Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure
  • Functions as a role model for current and new staff
  • Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the unit/ as specific to the scope of service to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed
  • Attends all required safety training programs and can describe responsibilities relate to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards
  • Follows the hospital exposure control plans/bloodborne and airborne pathogens
  • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment
  • Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as a part of the department/unit team inter and intra-departmentally to facilitate the departments /units ability to meet its goals and objectives
  • Direst other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients assigned
  • Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
  • Current TN Licensure

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
