Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Full Benefits!

The Critical Care Nurse Coordinator, will be a nurse resource throughout the Intensive Care Unit ICU and continue to advance nursing excellence throughout the Critical Car Department.

Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Coordinator ICU Critical Care

  • Support Critical Care Nursing Management in overseeing ICU floor and nursing team

  • Collaborate efficiently with a robust multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, social workers, and other clinical care providers

  • Promote compassionate and evidence-based care for every patient

  • Ensure proper Critical Care RN staffing

  • Evaluate, assess, educate, and mentor ICU nursing staff

  • Maintain safety and compliance throughout the critical care department

  • Develop and follow collaborative care plans

  • Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs as needed

  • Communicate kindly and respectfully with patients and families

  • Facilitate discharge and planning


Requirements for the RN Nurse Coordinator ICU Critical Care

  • BSN Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required, MSN a plus!

  • Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse

  • 3 years ICU critical care experience preferred

  • Charge Nurse experience

  • ANCC Board Certification preferred

  • BLS, ACLS required
