An exciting leadership opportunity for an RN Nurse Director Surgical Services has become available with a reputable short term acute care hospital located in South Texas.

This 185-bed facility has earned numerous accreditations for various services including cardiology, neurology, and emergency services. This acute care hospital uses the latest digital surgical technology offering minimally invasive procedures in their beautifully designed surgical suites. 

The RN Nurse Director Surgical Services will join a progressive physician-led team that provides exceptional care. Under the supervision of the CNO, the Nurse Director will assume administrative and technical responsibilities over the holding area, Operating Room OR, anesthesia services, Perianesthesia PACU Unit, outpatient surgery, and endoscopy. The Nurse Director Surgical Services will also provide an ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services delivered.

The RN Nurse Director Surgical Services will function as a resource for promoting clinical competency as well as implement decisions based on hospital standards. The Nurse Director should have licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse and 3-5 years of related Surgical Services experience with emphasis on leadership and management.
