Job Description

The RN Unit Nurse Manager is responsible for the delivery of resident/patient care through utilization of the nursing process, and through coordination and supervision of the nursing personnel providing care. Provides clinical supervision of resident/patient care. Provides 24 hour accountability for resident/patient care. Provides oversight and leadership of nursing care in compliance with state and federal regulations; Joint Commission standards; accepted standards of nursing practice; quality outcomes; and excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 2 years long term care and acute care experience preferred. Ability to obtain a valid New York State Nursing License by date of employment required. Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of Long Term Care regulations preferred.
