Northwestern Medical Center's mission is to provide exceptional healthcare for our community and we are currently recruiting for a Regular Part-time Radiologic Technologist opportunity.

EXPECTED HOURS/SHIFT:  Regular Part-Time (70 hours bi-weekly), hours generally between 7a-7p, to include every other weekend

JOB SUMMARY: 
Assists physician or provider with patient care, clerical and environmental or organizational tasks.  Operates radiographic equipment to produce quality radiographs under the supervision of a Radiologist using standards approved by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and supports the diagnostic imaging department.
 
PREREQUISITES

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography with current certification in respective modality.

Completion of Medical Assistant program preferred or experience performing medical assistant duties in an applicable medical setting with no training needed in the specific skills necessary to perform the duties required.

Prior Experience: Experience in an applicable medical setting preferred.

Required Certification/Registration: Able to attain certification as a urine drug screen collector, breath alcohol technician, hearing conservationist and NIOSH spirometry technician at the clinic’s discretion.

Other: Excellent computer, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Able to problem solve and suggest improvements to work processes. Must perform work with a high level of accuracy. Previous experience with electronic medical records preferred. Holiday, evening and weekend work required. Occasional on-site work required at client companies.
