Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  1. Provide customers with top quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
  2. Greet all guests and answers questions about Squaw Valley activities and equipment.
  3. Assist in setting up activity equipment
  4. Ensure all guest know the activity rules.
  5. Conduct safety training and assists guests with becoming familiar with the operation of the activity, safety and procedures.
  6. Rent equipment, process cash, credit cards or debit payments and account closeout at the end of the day.
  7. Maintain the tube runs, ice rink, shovel or rake snow to provide a consistent surface
  8. Maintain the cleanliness of the activity area; pick up litter and empty trash, snow removal as necessary. Ensure facility maintains a clean and professional appearance. 
  9. Assists with the cleaning, repair, inspection and maintenance of the activity equipment

Preferred:

  1. Knowledgeable about all aspects of Olympic Valley or be able to locate information.  Should have general knowledge of Alpine Meadows.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of frequently carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
