Job Description

To promote and execute the sale of automation components used in manufacturing directly to OEM and Tier 1&2 Automotive clients and to ensure the retention and further penetration of profitable business consistent with established sales goals and policies.

Experience Needed:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate technical field. Mechatronics background preferred.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of outside sales experience with a Manufacturer, Manufacturer's Representative or Distributor, selling automation motion products or complete motion systems/robotics.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a network of nationwide Key Account Customers and to plan and initiate effective sales performance.
  • Strategic and value based sales experience and knowledge of integrated automation systems (preferred).
  • Creative thinker and commercial focus, good technical understanding and results orientation.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, distributors, prospects, company personnel and others.
