Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which practicing.

2. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

3. Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks required.

4. Ability to lead the nursing department to provide basic principles of nursing care based on standards of nursing practice.

5. Maintain a current certification in cardiac-pulmonary resuscitation.

6. Minimum of five years of supervisory or management experience.

7. Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility.

8. Travel required

This position will be responsible for sitting in as a DON at any of the buildings within the region until the position is filled, train new hired DON's, train floor nurses when needed, and assist with rebuilding and improving clinical department in the buildings.
