Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to maximize your pay? Our client in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, is looking for a Registered Nurse to work nights in the ER. The ideal ER nurse will be quick-thinking and have graduated from an accredited nursing program. 7:00pm - 7:30am Shift. Every other weekend.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse

• Bed Number: 16 Beds, 2 Trauma Rooms, and 6 Overflow Rooms
• Responsible for maintaining care standards in the emergency room
• Assist with checking in patients, doing triage work for doctors and generating initial insurance paperwork
• Work closely with doctors to keep patients and their family members updated on test results or treatment recommendations
• Maintain contact with laboratory personnel to report any initial lab findings back to the ER doctors
• Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Requirements/Certifications

• Michigan State License
• EMR: Cerner
• 1+ years of ER experience - Required
• TNCC - Preferred
• ACLS
• BLS (AHA)
• PALS
