Job Description

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the Residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our caregivers. Such supervision must be in accordance with current state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Health Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. COVID-19 Vaccine required. FULL TIME, FLEXI SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assessment, treatment, and resident care responsibilities. Supervises Care as assigned.

Assess the resident's health status and health-care needs.

Monitor identified medical conditions, clinical behavior, nutritional status, personal hygiene, the resident's response to treatment and nursing care, and his/her daily activity level.

Administer medications, renewals and supplies.

Manage medical emergencies.

Document nursing services provided in the EMR.

Work with Director of Health Services to develop community medical referral resources and maintain ongoing communication with those providers.

Communicate health care findings to the physician and alert others involved with the resident's care to changes in status.

Work with Social Services to coordinate necessary health-care services outside the facility

Serve as an advocate to assist the residents with problem resolution.

Education

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing Current NJ License is RN

Experience

At least 2 years' full-time experience with long -term care, assisted Living, home health or hospital setting (preferred)
