Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday

Location: Clanton, AL

Responsibilities

Manage emergency services activities, workflow and nursing resources.

  • Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Assist with hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of nursing staff.
  • Identiy and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
  • Monitor and adhere to budget(s). Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
