We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuroscience team! In your role, you will deliver specialized nursing care to a diverse patient population. In addition to stroke, you can expect patient conditions that range from traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, intracranial aneurysm, brain tumor, multiple sclerosis, spinal injury or disease, and other neurological disorders. Responsibilities: You will have the opportunity to work closely with skilled neurosurgeons in all areas of this specialty, including trauma cases, and we will provide you with the training and education opportunity to grow your skills. Our Neuroscience department is a 52-bed unit that consists of 12 intermediate care (neuro step down) beds and 40 general neuro care beds, with telemetry monitoring capability for 32 patients. RN patient ratios are 1:4 -1:5 for the general neuro, and 1:3 for the neuro step-down unit.

Qualifications: Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program
  • Current RN license for the state of California
  • BLS and ACLS certification
